Missy Prudden returns to lead this series of four springtime watercolor workshops. Set on the banks of the Roaring Fork, the Library offers ample space for plein air painting. Workshops will meet outside at the East Entrance Patio. Registration is limited; you may either sign up for the series or individual days. Materials are provided. Please bring a camp chair, hat and water bottle and dress for changing weather!

Join Sarah R. Johnson, local Roaring Fork Valley environmental education specialist to learn about how scientists collect weather data on the Arctic Ocean amidst the frigid Arctic challenges. She will share from her recent International Arctic Buoy Programme (IABP) AK Spring 22 Deployment off the coast of Utqiaġvik, Alaska. Roaring Fork Audubon will lead us through a morning bird walk to learn about the riparian birds we have living in our neighborhood. All levels welcome! We will walk from the library along the riparian trails looking for Yellow Warbler, Warbling Vireo, Gray Catbirds, Song Sparrows, Black-capped Chickadees, and more.
