Anna Shook Peleaz unwillingly, but ever so gently, set her Earthly body down to rest on the morning of July 7, 2018. In the arms of her birth parents, her brother and her beloved husband, she surrendered to the ravages of her cancer and bid farewell to the people she loved most in the world. She was 32 years old.
Anna would want to be remembered for her grace, her humor, and her authentic joy in living her life fully. She would want to be remembered for her unwavering sense of this life having purpose. (Modafinil) And she will be. She will be remembered for all of those things.
Anyone who ever knew her, and especially those who fought alongside her these past two years, will always remember how fiercely she wanted to live and how completely she wanted nothing more than to be Mrs. Nicolas Peleaz, a dream that became a reality on June 16 in a stunning twelfth-hour coming together of details and people.
Anna’s life was celebrated in grand and joyful style on what would have been her wedding day, July 14, at the Flying Dog Ranch in Carbondale, Colorado.
The family wishes to thank Valley View Hospital and Calaway Young Cancer Center for their continued efforts to buy her more time and in their ability to keep her comfortable in her transition. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Calaway Young Cancer Center through the Valley View Foundation.
