Leash the hounds

Dear Editor:

It is truly frightening to have an unleashed dog aggressively approach you. And even if the owner states the dog is friendly and/or won’t bite it does not quell your fears when it is growling and showing its teeth! This has happened to me twice in the last couple of weeks!

Dog owners, if your dog (big or small) is one that is aggressive, even if it has never bitten, please keep it on a leash! It is the law! Spare anyone the pure fear they have to endure during the episode!
