All are welcome to join the 2024 Indigenous Wisdom Gathering & 4 Directions Ride in the beautiful mountain town of Eagle, Colorado! Come welcome the horses and riders with a drum ceremony as they arrive from the Four Directions and stay for horse painting, Native vendors, cultural presentations, food and intimate dialogues across generations and cultures!
We invite you to join the Tipi Raiser’s as we re-learn the ancient wisdom that our ancestors held and is still deep inside us all. When Native and non-Native people come together in this way, opportunities emerge to understand each other’s culture, engage in genuine dialogue and create lasting friendships.

Friday:
5:00 – 5:30pm | Indigenous Drummers “Drum In” Horses Riding in from the Four Directions
6:00 – 7:00pm | Live Music with internationally acclaimed recording artist, Leon Joseph Littlebird
8:00 – 10:00pm | Live Music, Festivities & Fun
Saturday:
10:00am | Flight Days Parade with Native Dancers & Four Directions Riders
11:00 – 11:45am | Traditional Dancers & Drumming
12:00 – 1:00pm | Horse-Painting Presentation
1:00 – 4:00pm | Indigenous Wisdom & Storytelling in the Tipi (open discussion for all ages)

10:00am | Indigenous Spirituality + Blessing of Peace Pole at First Lutheran Church in Gypsum
1:00pm| Reconciliation dialogue in partnership with Eagle Valley Land Trust
Monday:
10:00 – 11:00am: Join us for an Indigenous-led hike through Brush Creek Open Space in partnership with Eagle Valley Land Trust. Followed by Q & A.
