Labor Day: Más que un lunes libre, un tributo al trabajo con dignidad
El origen del Día del Trabajo en EE.UU. se remonta a finales del siglo XIX, en medio de la Revolución Industrial. Las condiciones laborales eran duras: jornadas de 12 a 16 horas, seis o siete días a la semana, sin garantías mínimas. Incluso los niños trabajaban en fábricas, minas y campos, muchas veces arriesgando la vida por un salario miserable.
