    Work in Progress – March 30, 2023 thumbnail The Singing Bone Medicine Show from Paonia performed the story of "La Loba," based on the book "Women Who Run with the Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estés It is about a mythical woman who collects bones of once sacred animals, particularly those of the wolf. The legend, which originated in Mexican folklore, was told through beautiful harmonic music and storytelling, and the visuals of shadow puppets. Their next performance in the Valley is at the Basalt Library on April 29 at 2:30pm. Photos by Sue Rollyson
