Roaring Fork High School’s boys soccer team continues its winning ways, earning a pair of shutout wins over the past week to further support their No. 3 ranking among Class 3A teams in Colorado.

On the road at Gunnison on Tuesday, the Rams won 3-0. That came on the heels of a 4-0 win over Vail Mountain in the Rams’ final home game of the regular season on Oct. 15.

Against Gunnison, it was senior Michael Parada scoring two goals, while fellow senior Cristian Turcios scored the game’s third goal.

Against Vail Mountain, senior Oliver Shook made the most of Rams Senior night, scoring a hat trick (three goals). Junior Felipe Oliva scored the other goal for the Rams, who jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half.

The Rams improved to 13-2 overall and remain undefeated in the 3A Western Slope League at 6-0. Roaring Fork closes things out Thursday at Delta, and will await the first-round state playoff pairings for a likely home match next week.
