The Ross Montessori Marmots competed at the Basalt Longhorn Invitational middle school race at Crown Mountain Park on Saturday, Aug. 26. Carbondale has two competitive middle school cross country teams — the Ross Marmots, coached by Carrie Vickers and Ross teacher Will Wright, and the Carbondale Middle School team, coached by teacher Marcy Bogner.
