Several Roaring Fork High School athletes were recognized with All-Conference and All-State selections following the conclusion of the spring sports seasons.
Racking up the most honors was the state quarterfinalist Lady Rams lacrosse team. Senior Jordyn Miller was named Class 4A first team All State in the attacker position, and fellow senior Alivya Malcolm was First Team All State as goalie.
Miller was also named the 4A Mountain East League Player of the Year, joining Malcolm on the first team along with senior Ava Montemayor (defense) and junior Marin Weaver (draw specialist). Montemayor and Weaver were both given honorable mention in the All-State selections.
Second team league selections were senior Hazel Barker (defense) and sophomore Kayla Steele (midfield).

Senior Andy McMichael, first team 3A Western Slope League (WSL); seniors Donny Read and Kenny Riley, second team WSL; junior Chase Fenton WSL honorable mention.
Girls soccer
Junior Bianca Braun, second team 3A WSL and All-State honorable mention; senior Maya Lindbloom, second team 3A WSL and All-State honorable mention; freshman Jocelyn Rivera, second team 3A WSL; senior Amalia Sparhawk, 3A WSL honorable mention.
Summer hoops
The Roaring Fork girls basketball team hosts the Summer Shootout tournament at the Rams Gymnasium this Saturday, June 6.
Roaring Fork plays North Fork at 10am, Meeker at 12:15pm and Palisade at 1:45pm, with games matching the other three teams in between.
Games will consist of two 18-minute periods with a running clock. And, in preparation for the new shot clock rules coming next season, a shot clock will be in use.
