Yes, that’s what the guys are putting on the horse’s legs (see photo on the bottom right) to help protect them from injury during a polo match. But it’s not quite a wrap for the Aspen Valley Polo Club’s (AVPC) season.
There’s still time to enjoy some polo, as the final match of the 2026 summer season will take place on Sunday, Aug. 30, before the club shuts its gates for the year.
Congratulations to Avatar Financial, who took the gold last Sunday at the AVPC’s Rocky Mountain Open.
