The third annual “Clay & Moonlight” kicked off Thursday night, Aug. 13, at the Aspen Glen Club in support of Carbondale Clay Center. The evening included live performances from Mt. Cirque Entertainment, handmade ceramic cups and honoring emeritus board member James Surls ahead of his move to Texas.. Surls’ work has been featured in museums in Mexico City and Singapore, at the New York City Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian and more.
