The Sopris Sun received an alarm of apparently new fracking equipment spotted in the Crystal Valley near Huntsman Ridge. According to the Forest Service, it’s routine maintenance on existing injection wells with a mobile workover rig, Wilderness Workshop responded to an inquiry. Black Hills Energy is also planning to replace a natural gas pipe in the area without increasing reservoir capacity at the Wolf Creek Underground Storage Unit.
