The Carbondale Historic Preservation Commission gave a courtesy review on Dec. 4 for a proposal at 242-256 Main Street (just east of the Village Smithy) presented by Forum Phi. The project aims to demolish the existing one-story commercial building to construct a three-story building in the Historic Commercial Core zone district.
