Word has gotten out about Redstone’s Fourth of July celebrations! The festivities start with pie and Ducky Derby sales at 9:30am at the Museum, square dancing at Ron’s Rink at 10am, the America 250 Fly Over at 11:15am, parade at noon, Ducky Derby race at 1pm at the park, where live music, kicking off with Sweet Jessup and the Dirty Buckets, will also begin at 1:30pm. FOURTH IN CARBONDALE
The 47th annual Carbondale Kids’ Fourth of July Parade kicks off at the corner of 2nd and Main Street at 10:30am, with staging starting at 10am. Kids are invited to participate in the parade on wheels (motorized and non-motorized) or by foot, and adults can also join in, along with leashed pets. The party continues at the Carbondale Aquatics Center, open from 10:30am to 4pm with a special $5 admittance for everyone, and will include a watermelon relay race, coin scavenger hunt and adult and youth cannonball contests.
