CKF – 20th Summit 4 Life

Following a week-long postponement due to weather conditions, the Chris Klug Foundation hosted its 20th annual Summit for Life race on Dec. 13, bringing some 350 passionate participants to Aspen Mountain. The event raised over $120,000 toward promoting organ, eye and tissue donations. Finishing first in the male division was Cooper Shanks of Carbondale with a time of 47:53.6, followed by Christian Kelly of Aspen and Elliott Bates of Glenwood Springs. In the female division, Manasseh Franklin of Carbondale finished first with a time of 57:14.4 followed by Rachel Beck of Woody Creek and Beth Krasemann of Carbondale. Courtesy photo
