UJA Aspen Valley Hosts Bari Weiss for Annual Fundraiser

United Jewish Appeal (UJA) Aspen Valley provides signature programs throughout the community to engage the next generation in being Jewish, unite the people of the Aspen Valley with the people of Israel, and build community through innovative and creative programming for all ages.

The Annual Summer Fundraiser and Cocktail Reception raises critical funds to fuel UJA Aspen Valley’s important work, including:
• Scholarships for children to attend overnight Jewish summer camp and religious school programming at Aspen Valley congregations
• Travel stipends to Israel for B’nai Mitzvah students of $1,000 each
• Cultural exchanges for teens with Israeli teen emissaries
• Connections with disabled IDF soldiers who travel to Aspen Valley for respite and renewal, spending a week of skiing and sharing their stories with the community
• A new Regional Security Advisory Program to help Aspen Valley Jewish organizations with safety protocols and grant opportunities
