Naturalist Nights: Small Mountain Owls

Join Scott Rashid, the Director of the Colorado Avian Research and Rehabilitation Institute, for a presentation all about small mountain owls! Specifically, he will be discussing the natural history of a few key species, including the Northern Saw-whet, Northern Pygmy, Flammulated, and Boreal Owls. Come learn about their behaviors, breeding, and more!

In his role as the Director of the Colorado Avian Research and Rehabilitation Institute, Scott creates and manages projects for the institute, while also rehabilitating injured birds.
This is a free event. Additional information will be sent in your confirmation email.
Unable to join us in Carbondale? Scott will also be presenting in Aspen on Thursday, January 13 at ACES Hallam Lake Nature Preserve. Presentations will also be available to watch on Grassroots TV and YouTube afterwards.
