Meet the Author: James Mitchell

James Mitchell, non-musician and author of “Musical Chairs” will be at the Carbondale Branch Library to take you through his humor-filled quest to learn every instrument in the orchestra, starting at the age of 76. Inspiring and uplifting, with a knowledgeable narrative on the instruments, Mitchell also improbably weaves in tales of Tarzan and Jane and falling in love with a cello. Books will be sold following the event.
