‘Lhotse’ Showing and Slideshow with Jim and Hilaree

Cripple Creek Backcountry and The North Face are proud to present the first North American showing of ‘Lhotse’. In October of 2018, Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison made history when they became the first skiers to summit and descend the worlds 4th highest mountain. Located in the ‘throne room’ of Mt. Everest, Lhotse features an aesthetic 2000 ft. couloir directly from the summit that then dumps out onto the famed Lhotse face. Doing anything at 28000 ft. is difficult enough, let alone skiing in a no fall zone, 50 degree couloir.
Join us on December 11th at Wheeler Opera house in Aspen, CO to celebrate this incredible achievement. We will be showing the film followed by a slideshow presentation from Jim and Hilaree.
Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30. Tickets go on sale November 20th.
