ADVENTURE NOT WAR: FILM & DISCUSSION WITH STACY BARE

Adventure Not War chronicles the mission of Stacy Bare, a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, who set out to climb, ski and adventure in all the places where he fought and served. This film was screened at Cannes, Tribeca and 5Points Adventure Film Fests. Stacy and his fellow veterans return to Iraq to find closure and heal. There, they put up the first known ski ascent and descent from the top of Mt. Halgurd, the second highest mountain in the Kurdish Autonomous Region of Iraq in the Zagros Mountain Range.

Stacy Bare will be in attendance to discuss his ongoing project, which heads to Afghanistan next year, and take questions. This event is presented in collaboration with Aspen Entrepreneurs and Huts For Vets and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Huts For Vets. Networking for Aspen Entrepreneurs members will occur before and after the event.
